Biography[]
The manager/main substitute player for Team Envy, Barida 'Dethroner' Kpea is not only new to the world of esports, but new to FPS games in general with minimal experience in the Genre prior to Paladins. Earning broad recognition throughout the North American community, even Kpea is a little struck by his own success, writing ""I'm kinda surprised in my self on how far I made it in this scene"". His team however doesn't share this uncertainty; confident in their selection of supporting teammate Kpea has already made his battlefield debut and continues to exceed expectations. As a Front Line/Flex player, it's no surprise that Kpea's favourite champion is Makoa. Describing his play-style as ""balanced... I try to create the most pressure possible while staying alive"", Makoa's innate survivability and displacement granted by their kit lends its self heavily to allow Kpea to impact games in the way of his choosing.
In June 2018, Kpea parted ways with the EnVy crew in search of opportunities of his own. His search took him into the hands of SK Gaming, with him joining in August 2018 as a replacement for WarDoom and taking up the reigns of a front liner.
