Leonardo “Hiro” Zamora got his first taste of esports as an Overwatch player. From the moment this title launched, he dove into being a support-flex player and scrimmed extensively -- eventually reaching the top 500 multiple times and playing for a few teams before an official league was established for the game. After getting bored with the Overwatch playstyle, he picked up Paladins in late 2017 and fell in love.
As soon as he was able, Hiro made his way onto the Paladins esports scene as part of a few different PGS teams. Most notably, he played for a team called Toxicity that won every PGS phase they qualified for. Throughout this time in the competitive circuit, Hiro has figured out that his attitude is what sets him apart as a Paladins player. He doesn’t audibly exert his frustrations while in-game, and always tries to cheer his teammates up or keep comms rolling when they lose a map. This has proven valuable to Hiro many times before, and will likely prove valuable again as he embarks on a new journey with the Renegades roster.
Just as you might expect from a support-flex player, Hiro’s favorite champion is Makoa. This was the first tank he started playing when he picked up Paladins, and he equally enjoys this champion’s legendary options and plushy skins.
