Biography

When Paladins casters talk about “hot young talent”, more often than not they’re referring to Jaeden “Invocal” Smith. At 14 years old, Invocal is the youngest active player in the PPL. Because both his parents work as game developers, this fledgling pro was exposed to a variety of video before he eventually discovered Paladins and started down the competitive path he’s traveling today.

Invocal’s playstyle varies widely depending on who his opponents are, what Champion he’s playing, and what map he’s on. He uses apps to help him stay up-to-date with game knowledge, then practices consistently against the best players possible to keep furthering his understanding of Paladins by learning the wisdom of its veterans. Though he’s thrilled to learn more and be a professional part of the growing Paladins esports scene, Invocal remains focused on his penultimate task: winning.

Fans of Invocal have Androxus to thank for stoking his interest in Paladins. This champion has been Invocal’s favorite since the beginning -- and Invocal has said before that as soon as he played his first game with Androxus, he was certain there would be more Paladins in his future.

With a high skill cap that fits Invocal’s equally high ambition, the sky’s the limit for this player whose esports journey is only just beginning.
