Biography
Teemu hasn’t played any games at esports level before Paladins. He plays some of the most aggressive supports and it’s what makes his playstyle semi-unique. Spunkki started playing Paladins when his friend from Smite got an invite and said it was cool game. He suggested that Teemu should try it. According to our player, after a few days he had to buy Founder’s Pack and got hooked right into it. The rest is the history…
Teemu “spunkki” Tenhunen never planned to get into competitive gaming, but then he stumbled upon Paladins. After being introduced to the game by a friend, Tenhunen purchased the Founder’s Pack within a few days. He got hooked, he played some games, and eventually he became a world champion.
From his time in the PGS to his domination in the PPL, spunkki has always been a valuable asset to whatever team he plays alongside—and he’s proven that fact several times over with his incredible first-place finishes at events like the 2017 Paladins Invitational and the 2018 World Championships.
Considered by many to be the best support player in the world, spunkki’s playstyle is characterized by the use of highly aggressive support champions. His favorite among them is Grohk. Why? Because of one particular voiceline that spunkki seems to live by when it comes to taking down enemies: “It’s not easy being blue, but it’s worse to be you!”
