Biography
Bryce “Vex30” Kelly began playing Paladins in September of 2016 with the goal of becoming a streamer. But after being offered the opportunity to substitute for an active competitive team, Vex30’s focus shifted from pure entertainment to pursuing a pro career. Although Paladins is his first esports title, his background in other FPS and MOBA titles allow him to feel comfortable in the scene rather than overwhelmed by the sense of competition.
As a support player, Vex30 gravitates toward survivability and mobility in his champion picks. So of course, his favorite champion is Jenos. Vex isn’t afraid to admit that this pick is partially due to the demands of the current meta, considering that Jenos has been one of the two most popular support picks in the competitive scene recently. But it will be interesting to see if he sticks with this champion and continues to focus his mastery on what’s popular, or if he’ll look to break down popular meta conception and forge new compositions with his team.
Most of Vex30’s time in the PPL has been as a main member of SK Gaming’s roster. With plenty of observational experience under his belt, Vex has a better opportunity than ever ro prove he’s among the best in the league. And he’s more than ready to face that challenge -- saying that he believes wholeheartedly in his ability to “survive through any situation and put out the most damage while doing so”.
