Ryan "watkns" Watkins was previously a flex for Team Zenith.

Biography

Ryan "watkns" Watkins is a name known mainly in the high level PGS scene, having gone to the Paladins 2017 Fall LAN with Team Kill to Heal among the best players Paladins has to offer. He first started playing Paladins during November 2015 under the name "dalviosia" but only got into the competitive scene during July 2016, when he joined the community team "The Art of Warfare". After leaving TAW in June 2017, he jumped from team to team until he landed with Kill to Heal in September 2017, alongside changing his name to "watkns". They exploded onto the PGS scene taking Phase 3 with a very compelling set against Purity, only falling to them for 2nd place. At the Fall LAN, they fell to Mousesports in the first round. Since then, Kill to Heal faltered before dissolving in January 2018. After a short hiatus from Paladins, watkns returned to the competitive scene in February 2018 with PrideStark Gaming, making the switch from Off Tank to Flex. In April 2018, PrideStark Gaming disbanded and watkns moved onto Hopefully Relevant, reuniting with old teammates Asdfmaster, JabJab and bagelw0w.

After being on Hopefully Relvant as a sub for almost a month, watkns announced his departure on June 19, 2018.

In July, watkns was approached Toxicity alumni EDG3M and former Gankstars player Nijoo to form a new team. Accepting the offer, they went on to participate in the new PGS qualifiers in August 2018, losing to b first week, only to rebound and beat b in week two, securing 2nd seed at 110 points.

After the last week of the PGS Fall Split, watkns' announced his departure from Big Egos and offered no reason as to why.

At the PWC 2019 Qualifiers, watkns was shown to be on the main roster for Big Egos in a surprise twist, and proved instrumental in their 2-0 win over Renegades.

Watkns returned to the Tier 2 scene competing with the promising roster of Zenith in the 2019 PML NA Spring Split. During qualifiers he was noted for his constant plays with Kinessa and Tyra, to the point where he is referenced when Tyra is seen in both the PPL and PML. After weeks of losing teammates to other teams, watkns left near the end of April to work on fixing his health and focusing on the end of his senior year of High School.
